Young Presidents' Organization/Virginia Chapter

Welcome to the home page for the Virginia chapter of the Young Presidents Organization, or YPO for short.  Our chapter is comprised of a dynamic and exclusive group of the finest business leaders in the state of Virginia from a diverse set of industries and backgrounds.  Our members learn from their peers, exchange ideas, ask for advice, and share best practices in an open and trusting way.  CEOs have access to a lot of information, to smart subordinates and perhaps a few too many “yes men.”  Our chapter’s strength is a membership of qualified peers eager to learn and interact and grow as leaders.

Mission statement

“Better Leaders Through Education and Idea Exchange”.  A great deal has changed since YPO’s founding 60 years ago, but certain things have remained the same: the value of a peer network and trusted mentors, the importance of ongoing education, and the need for a “safe haven” where issues can be aired in an environment of confidentiality.  Over the past six decades, YPO has maintained its core commitment to these ideals while embracing change with each successive generation of young business leaders.
